Eric A. Hamilton

A Martindale-Hubbell AV® Preeminent™ Rated attorney, Eric has spent his entire career litigating civil claims and insurance disputes in courtrooms across the Commonwealth. For over twenty-five years, he has represented insurance companies and their insureds in lawsuits alleging injury, death, and property damage, including actions alleging bad faith, premises liability, animal liability, auto accidents, fire and water loss, coverage questions and disputes, and appeals. He has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict and through the appellate process that have resulted in numerous published and unpublished opinions.

In addition to serving his clients, Eric has been asked, on two separate occasions, to author an Amicus Curiae brief for the Kentucky Defense Counsel on significant insurance related appellate issues arising before the Kentucky Supreme Court.

Eric is a native of Hart County, Kentucky. The son of lifelong educators, he obtained his undergraduate degree in history from the University of Kentucky in 1997 and his Juris Doctor from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2000, where he was a member of the Tax Moot Court team and the Northern Kentucky Law Review, where his Note, Commonwealth v. Allen: An Eye-opener for Kentucky's Teachers, was published in Volume 27 of the Northern Kentucky Law Review in 2000.

Eric is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Kentucky, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
